Investing in medicinal cannabis is anything but a simple process, as it is classified as a drug and the security measures in the units are very strict. For example, all employees must have a clean criminal record.
In order to be granted an establishment permit, the entire cultivation and processing activity must be carried out in an enclosed area, within which the storage points are also located. The space will be fenced with a permanent mesh or with masonry, at least 3 meters high and inside the fence there will be a free - empty zone, at least 3 meters wide.
There should also be adequate lighting, alarm systems, back-up generators and batteries, 24-hour surveillance with cameras, but also 2-hour guarding by uniformed and trained private guards who constantly supervise the fencing, the empty zone and the security systems. At the same time, at least one mobile goal per shift will move along the internal free-empty zone, while in areas larger than 10 acres the mobile goals per shift are at least two.
Only authorized persons, who will be registered electronically, will be able to enter the facilities. The electronic entry-exit records will be kept for ten years and will be available at every police check.
